LaCie has updated one if its ultra portable hard drives to USB 3.0, the LaCie Rikki, apart from the new USB 3.0 being added the specifications remain the same as the previous model.
LaCie has also launched a new portable hard drive, the LACie Minimus hard drive, which comes with 1TB of storage and is also USB 3.0 compatible.
With the LaCie Minimus, you’ve got the power and performance of USB 3.0 combined with an ultra-compact size. Compared to other desktop drives, it’s the smallest on the market, which makes it the perfect choice for users that enjoy their terabytes as much as their desk space.
Both models are now available from LaCie with the Rikki retailing for $100 for the 500GB version and the Minimus retailing for $129.99 for the 1TB version.
