Kingston has launched a new ultra secure USB flash drive, which has received the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 certification.
The BlackBox also features 256-bit, hardware-based AES encryption, enforced complex password protection and device lockdown after a specified number of invalid attempts, to prevent brute force attacks, It is also fully waterproof up to 4 feet and features a titanium coated stainless steel casing for added protection.
This ultra secure Black Box USB thumb drive doesn’t come cheap though at a massive $424 for 8GB.
