At one time updating your Facebook status and tweeting your thoughts was new and amazing. Now we just take it for granted. Some companies don’t take it for granted though. Companies know that a bad tweet or Facebook comment can negatively effect their brand. Then again, companies can use these services in novel ways to do something cool.
Kellogs is hoping to get many positive tweets in the UK by launching the world’s first “Tweet Shop” which will also be launching its new Special K Cracker Crisps.
You can find the store on Meard Street in central London and you can pay for the crisps by tweeting about it. Your tweet will be visible on the community noticeboard which is basically a tweet wall that will provide live updates on the reactions of customers to both the shop and the crisps.
This will be taking place until Friday, September 28th and the shop will be open from 9am to 5pm.
