Here is a fun accessory for your your iPhone, iPod or MP3 player, the JV Sliding Speaker.

The JVC SP-A130 Sliding Speaker measures 30mm and can work in both active and passive modes, it can be powered by 4 x AA batteries, or it can draw power from your MP3 player.

It measures 30mm wide, and can deliver stereo sound up to 160mWx2ch, and the speaker can be hidden away in the case.

The JVC SP-A130 Sliding Speaker will come in a range of funky colors, unfortunately it looks like it will only be available in Japan at first, for $33 in October.

There is no word on when we will see it in the US and Europe.
