Nicholas Webber is currently serving five years in jail after creating a hacker’s forum site called GhostMarket. He was invited into an IT class in jail, which was not a good idea by the folks at Isis prison. Soon after, the prison’s computer system was hacked.
What else could they expect? This 2011 hacking incident came to light because the teacher who ran the IT class sued the college for unfair dismissal. According to Michael Fox, he didn’t know that Webber was a hacker. The prison banned him, and Kensington and Chelsea College dropped him from their payroll.
It sounds like there was no communication in the prison and so chaos ensued. Never give a hacker a computer in prison.
