i am from india and i am also experiencing problem of less battey life when i updated it to os 3.0 .will anyone please tell me how to increase battery life

It seems to he happening on the 3G as well, the Mrs has one and she has noticed a difference since the update.

I haven’t upgraded yet, have a 3G… Seems that what I’ve read about it that it’s mainly affecting people with the 3GS… so I’m curious if it’s also affecting the 3G? Anyone have any ideas?

My phone started having very noticable battery life impacts after the update. Starting this last weekend it now is horrible. I load a couple of web pages and check a few emails and the battery drains up to 10% at a time. Doing very minimal activity and my phone drains completely within a couple of hours. It dropped 20% sitting in my shirt pocket on standby mode on the 20 minute drive to work.

I agreed with Drake, not so much battery issues as the phone either locking up or indiscriminately shutting off.

since i updated my phone last night, it has been shutting off constantly if i am texting someone. I did not have the problem until i plugged my phone in last night to update it

Very interesting since I seem to be experiencing the opposite effect with my iPhone. My phone’s battery lasts distinctly longer. Although of course I am not sure if it has to do with the update.
