Last Friday Apple started taking pre-orders of the new iPhone 5C, they are not taking pre-orders of the new iPhone 5S and you will have to wait until this Friday to order one.
Apple will start taking orders for the iPhone 5S on Friday the 20th of September at 12.01AM Pacific Time, they will also be selling the handset in their stores this Friday.
Apple are obviously looking to boost sales of the iPhone 5C by putting the device up for pre-orders and not offering pre-orders of the iPhone 5S, even the mobile carriers are not officially allowed to take orders on the handset until Friday.
Some UK mobile carriers are taking unofficial orders for the iPhone 5S ahead of the launch this Friday, and some are creating priority lists of customers for the device at launch.
