iPhone 4 UK Pay As You Go Prices, 16GB £499, 32GB £599

Apple has finally announced the prices for the iPhone 4 for the UK, the 16GB iPhone 4 is available for £499 whilst the 32GB iPhone is available for £599, the good news is that these iPhone 4′s are completely SIM free meaning you can use them on any network.

Pre-ordering is now available from the Apple store online. We are still waiting for details from the various networks in the on how much the iPhone 4 will cost on various contracts.

iPhone 4 UK Pay As You Go Prices, 16GB £499, 32GB £599

Yesterday we saw details leaked from Vodafone, that said the iPhone 4 would cost £189 for the 16GB and £280 for the 32GB on their cheapest contract.

It looks like the black iPhone 4 is the only version available to pre-order, the white version is showing as unavailable.

its telling you the price pay and go but the link doesnt work when you click it and it doesnt state which pay and go networks its on either

Those are actually SIM-FREE (unlocked) prices rather than PAYG prices.

As stated in the above comment they are sim free. Below where you click to order it says sim free work with any carrier. Not a bad price, was expecting more for that

Please note that this price is for a SIM free iPhone4 as apple obviously aren’t selling it tied to any network on PAYG. I hope that each network doesn’t sell it at these prices as normally SIM free phones are dearer than PAYG ones and is the 32GB one worth £200 more than a Desire et al?

may be sim free but their micro simd and only o2 have said they have micro sims atm so if you look at it their not unlocked their locked to o2 for now

@monstermac : you can buy sim cutters (i won’t name names) that ‘safely’ cut any normal sims into microsims. Besides, if the other networks are selling the iphone 4 surely they’ll have microsims by launch date?

Maybe so but it’s abut stupid paying £600 and then finding out I can’t us it because let agree the networks haven’t been that reliable so far

I have micro sims from o2, orange and three mobile for my iPad and I know vodafone already offer them for the iPad so there is no reason to doubt that the main providers will have them available for launch day.

It’s dearer than I thought by £50 for each gig but as it’s unlocked I’ll probably get the 16 gig as I’ve had my normal 16 gig for 16 months now and I have about 500 songs and about 80 apps with about 30 games like FIFA and tiger woods,so not small games plus it’s jailbroken so all the memory they modifications take up and I still have 7gig memory left.

Does anybody know whether PAYG on O2 (or any other network) will come with free internet for a year? If not, how does the iPhone internet work on PAYG?

Carphone warehouse isn’t giving us any information. I can’t believe how late everything is being left.

The above prices are sim free, all the networks will have the micro-sims ready, altho if your like me and already tied into a contract, u will have to get a micro-sim (not sure if it will cost yet) and then transfur your number over to that sim.

As for PAY-As-you-go, the internet will work on a pay-as-you service, so the more you use it the more it will cost unless you use Wi-Fi of corse!! I have also seen you can buy packages so £10 for 5Gb of use!!
