Infinitec has launched a new project on the crowd funded website Kickstarter for their new Pocket TV. Which has been designed to transform any TV into a Smart TV. The Infinitec Pocket TV simply plugs into your HDMI port, which can even be on TVs that are five years old, say its creators. Providing them with all the functionality of what you would expect from a Smart TV.
The Infinitec Pocket TV is basically a mini PC in a thumb drive that is running Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system, transforming your HDTV into a larger than life Android tablet.
The design for the Infinitec Pocket TV is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production.
