HP Slate 7 goes on sale starting at $170

HP has launched its latest tablet, the HP Slate 7, which is available for purchase on its website. The 7-inch Android tablet is a mid-level tablet that is all about price. It’s affordable. It also features integrated Beats Audio processing.
Those two factors should make it attractive to buyers. The Slate 7 features a stainless steel frame, an ARM dual-core Coretex-A9 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, a rear-facing camera with a 3MP resolution and a front-facing unit that is VGA. The Slate 7’s display uses a High-aperture-ratio Field Fringe Switching (HFFS) panel to improve viewing angles too.

This tablet should do well because of the price alone. We will see how many they sell.
