My HP Pavilion dv8 features an Intel Core 7 processor (up to 1.73GHz), 8GB of RAM, two 500GB SATA hard-disc drives (for a total of 1TB) fast as lighting! It is especially geared for high-resolution video processing, as it incorporates an nVidia GeForce GT230 graphics card with 1GB of vRAM, a TV tuner, and even a Blu-ray disc player. On the audio side, it utilizes Altec Lansing speakers with an integrated subwoofer and Dolby home theater technology to lace video content with its original, non-altered audio track. Select models also host a Digital Fingerprint reader for enhanced security. Workmanship is excellent and has a beautiful black high gloss finish with stainless steel touch pad and 18 inch screen is awesome. Expensive yes, however worth every dollar and I highly recommend this PC to those that seek the best equipped and fastest PC on the market today. Carlo E.
