Hitachi Deskstar 7K2000 2TB 7200RPM Hard Drive

Hitachi has just announced the launch of the World’s biggest 7,200RPM hard drive, the Hitachi Deskstar 7K2000.

The Hitachi Deskstar 7K2000comes with a massive 2TB of storage, and this 3.5 inch hard drive features 32GB of cache and a 3GB/S SATA interface, making it the fastest 2TB SATA hard drive available today.

There are no details on pricing or availability as yet, but Hitachi have stated that the drive will start shipping soon, lets hope the price is reasonable on this one.
