Google Android 2.1 Update Available For Motorola Droid And Droid Eris

If you have been waiting to update your Motorola Droid or Droid Eris to the latest version of Google’s mobile phone operating system, Android 2.1, good news as it looks like a ROM has been leaked which will allow you to update your Droid to Android 2.1.

Motorola and Verizon have said that they will be releasing over the air updates for the Droid and Droid Eris shortly, although there is no timescale on when these updates will be available.
