The GhostGuitar iPad App is an innovative application that allows you to play the guitar without actually holding one, using augmented self reality as its creators say.

The innovative application uses Realtime Mobile Machine Vision (REMMVi) technology which allow you to play air guitar using your left hand to fret a chord and your right hand to strum or pick. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.

After a simple setup process where the application asks sync with the back of your right hand. You are ready to rock-n-roll. GhostGuitar also has a recording mode so you can capture your tunes and even sing along.
