I’ll spare you the “Who ya gonna call?” jokes. But if you are a Ghostbusters fan, you will be happy to know that Capcom’s social and mobile subsidiary, Beeline Interactive, is expected to launch a Ghostbusters social game on iOS in 2013.
The game will be based around the Ghostbusters films and players will drive around New York City, fight ghosts and level up while upgrading their gear. Capcom will be marketing the game as a game that fathers and sons can play together.
This separates it from the company’s other social game, Smurfs’ Village which has a larger female base and includes “mothers, daughters and granddaughters”.
Hopefully this new game will be a good one and we won’t be slimed by a bad game.
