Double that and you get a retail price, which most artists sell at to be fair with their relationships through other stores/galleries.I'm afraid $2.00 doesn't even cover the cost for one sterling cufflink back! $125.00 also covers the fees for selling them through etsy and paypal site.These cufflinks are not created from a mold or have a stamp "made in" insert foreign country manufacturing company here. Before taking a metalsmithing class I thought it was ridiculous what artists and crafters where asking for their work. However by taking a class I not only did I find a passion for creating I understood the process and time that took to make a piece of work.
