GammaTech RT10 Tablets Are Built Like Tanks
GammaTech are quite the low-profile tech company who build products better suited to the military and engineering professions than us civilians, but not anymore.
If super-tough gadgets are your thing, get an eyeful of the RT10A and RT10D. Both tablets were built to withstand the rigors of the outdoors and assorted awful conditions. Needless to say, a quick glance of the accompanying pic reveals the RT10 line favors function over form. It’s thick and devoid of sleek contours, bereft of even a smooth interface.
Then again, the RT10 was designed to withstand the elements. But this doesn’t mean the specs have been neglected. The RT10A and RT10D can run on Windows 7, Vista Business or XP Tablet Professional.
It’s got WiFi and Bluetooth, two USB ports, an Ethernet port and smart card reader. On top of this is the 10.2 inch WSVGA TFT high resolution (1024×600) LCD.
The main difference between the RT10A and RT10D are the processors. RT10A uses a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU while the RT10D has a 1.2 GHz Intel Core Duo U2500.
If you’re itching to get your paws on one, get in touch with a reseller near you. It’s too bad GammaTech aren’t selling this thru their site.
