According a leaked shot of an inventory screen, GameStop may soon be expanded to include more Apple products in its inventory. If the image is accurate, the company may be adding some refurbished MacBooks. GameStop already sells refurbished iPhones, iPods, iPod Touch and iPads.
The pictures were sent in by an anonymous GameStop employee, and they show three MacBook models along with the store’s usual inventory of consoles, games and accessories. The specs show that the models are refurbished older units, selling for used prices.
For instance a 2GHz 13-inch MacBook is listed for $460, so it is likely a 2006 or 2007 model, along with a 1.4GHz 11-inch MacBook Air for $750 and a recent 17-inch MacBook Pro for $2,100. Hopefully we will learn more soon.
