Sing it with me to the tune of Pink Floyd’s The Wall. “Hey. Sony. Leave those games alone!” People aren’t happy about Microsoft’s Xbox One console when it comes to how it approaches used games. And while Sony has yet to share details on the PS4 and how they might approach the used games market and DRMs, there has been a huge Twitter movement around the issue.
Thousands of gamers are attempting to persuade Sony to leave used games alone for the PS4. It all originally started on the NeoGAF forums where users do not want the PS4 to take the same route as the Xbox One. Gamers are also asking Sony to make the PS4 region-free, much like the PS3 and to have free online play.
They would do well to listen and distance themselves from the XBox One, while collecting some Microsoft devotees.
