FXI Cotton Candy Pocket Computer, Available To Pre-Order For $199 (video)


Any one who is interested in the new FXI Cotton Candy pocket sized PC, that wad first unveiled back in CES of January this year. Will be pleased to learn that the tiny form factor PC is now available to pre-order for $199. With shipping of the final devices expected to start sometime next month.

The FXI Cotton Candy PC is similar in size to a standard flash drive and is equipped with a USB connection on one end and a HDMI on the other. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.

The FXI Cotton Candy PC is powered by a 1.2 GHz Samsung Exynos ARM Cortex-A9 processor, supported by 1GB of RAM and Mali 40 graphics. It will come supplied running Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, but will also run Ubuntu Linux is preferred. As well as any other operating system which has been compiled to run on ARM processors, theoretically.

The FXI Cotton Candy PC is also equipped with a MicroSD card for storage, and provides connectivity via WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. If you would like to pre-order your very own pocket sized FXI Cotton Candy PC jump over to the CStick Store to place your order.

    At that size I can imagine it being used by quite a lot of people for travel, most hotel rooms have a TV with a HDMI port on it nowadays, no more paying for movies or just watching the local shows in languages you don’t understand.
