Future iPad to have display with built-in speakers?

The innovation never stops at Apple and if you look at the company’s patents, they can be a good indicator as to what the company’s plans are for the future. A new patent by Apple, published today, refers to a flexible display that can be equipped with a bunch of interesting features.

We are talking an actual functional flexible display Flexible display with features like speakers, laser mic and a tactile keyboard. You won’t need any third party speakers if you have speakers right on the display.

They could just add some transducers to the back of the flexible display. It would certainly be interesting to see how they do it.
