Funky Gadgets – The Phonofone II iPod Speaker

Here’s a funky speaker for your iPod the Phonofone II iPod Speaker.

This stylish ceramic speaker is different than normal iPod speakers in the way it connects, rather than connecting with a headphone jack, you place your headphones in the Phonofone’s resonance chamber.

The speaker has no power source and it uses horn accoustics to produce the sound and can produce audio from the earphones up to 45 decibels.

This is a very interesting device, using old technology to deliver sound from a new gadget very clever.

The Phonofone II Speaker will go on sale later this month for $500 from Unica Home.
