Guys guys guys – this idea was ventral to a key scene in a film you might have heard of … Citizen Kane?
Look at the film again – the scene where Kane brings his wife a nice glass of milk with something nasty in it (we suspect) and to foreground the glass of milk, they put a small lamp of some kind in it to make the thing glow.
