It’s not often that you get a fully functional Android fun in a magazine. That’s one way for a magazine to stand out from the crowd. By embedding a small screen in your magazine ad to offer information in real time. That’s what the CW did when they embedded a smartphone into this week’s Entertainment Weekly.
It’s called the ABO 810 and it’s a pretty basic Android phone. For about $40 you can order one online if you want. It’s an Android 2.2 smartphone with a 2.3″ screen. By removing all of the plastic, the keyboard, and sliding the battery over to the left you are left with a pretty thin phone. Thin enough to act as a monitor to show off commercials for upcoming television shows in fact.
That is a great marketing stunt.
