Corsairs new super fast 16GB thumb drive – The Flash Vovager GT

Corsair has launched a new super fast USB Thumb drive, the Flash Voyager GT.

This new Flash Voyager GT is capable of transfer speeds of 1MB in less than two seconds, this means that a full 1.6GB movie could be transferred in just 98 seconds, this 16GB Flash Voyager GT has a rubber shell and is shock and water resistant.
It also features encryption software called TrueCrypt which provides 256-bit AES encryption to keep your precious files safe.
The Flash Voyager GT 16GB is compatible with Mac, Linux and Windows and will retail for around $170.

It’s crazy how much memory they can cram inside these things these days. I remember the first memory card I got was 128k for a PSION series 3a.

math problem:
1 MB in 2 sec.
1.6 GB in 98 sec.
Is this math even close? Lets see…
1.6 * 1024 = 1638MB = 3276.8 seconds = 54 minutes…
