Warning: bought 2 of these off eBay. Both lasted 1 month! 1st one suddenly stopped working, and second one intermittently power-cycle by itself after a month …
Such a shame, since idea is great but reliability is really bad – and proven twice. Used for USB source of new Renault radiocars – other products work much better !
(Note: SDHC card shipped with this item works great though – It’s a Kingston 8Gb).

That looks like the end it’s supposed to go, since it has the arrow and the picture of the microSD. The plastic part is just so you can take it out of your usb port.

nope – I believe that’s exactly the point. It overlaps the usb plug – look at the little arrow embossed into the shield of the usb plug.

Uhh, I think they are putting the card in the wrong (USB) end in the one photo.
