If you are looking to extend your Wi-Fi connection outside your house and away from power supply, maybe into the garden. Then this DIY Solar powered Wi-Fi repeater will help you go into the depths of your garden with ease. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
In this hack a solar panel has been rigged to power a Linksys WRT54G v8 router with 7.5 volts at 500 milliamps in direct sunlight.
Its also equipped with a back system just in case the clouds should come out to try and drop your connection. When the clouds do come out a backup power supply of 5 AA batteries kicks in to keep you connected.
You can download full instructions from the Voltsxamps website.
