DIY LED Place Cards Keep Wedding Guests From Losing It
The long and short of this post is some guy over at Instructables came up with a unique twist for his wedding’s place cards by going the LED route.
Looking at the photographic evidence, we think the guy deserves a pint and a pat in the back. We marvel at the craftsmanship! It’s also a good idea if you don’t want to piss off the guests at your wedding by leading them to the wrong table and sowing much chaos.
With just binder clips, poster strips, LED bulbs, precut Acrylic sheets and lithium batteries he was able to make place cards for the 150 odd guests at his wedding.
In case you’re inspired by such dedication, be warned that it was a very labor intensive process making all these light up cards.
Lest we forget to mention it, this trick is best suited for either night events or a very dark room. To showcase glowing LED stuff in broad daylight really defeats the purpose, you know?
We’re thinking the best people to have a go at such a task either a) want to impress the in laws b) are on a tight budget c) an artistic type and d) all of the above. In case you checked any of those options, go here for detailed instructions.
