Diablo 3 Release Date Leaks Online

It has been a long strange trip for Diablo 3 to get to retail. After many setbacks and false release dates, we may finally have some good news for gamers ready to venture into the depths of the game. According to a Dutch toy retailer, Bart Smit, the game will be arriving on April 19th.
Diablo 3
After the wait that fans have had to endure, I think we would all just be happy if it ever actually arrives. As you might imagine there isn’t any official word from Blizzard games so far, except to say that the game is in great shape and that we can expect an announcement soon.

If it doesn’t arrive in April, whats another few years, right? We’ve got other stuff to play. Anyway, the longer it takes, the more money they potentially lose from disgruntled gamers.

What do you think?

“Anyway, the longer it takes, the more money they potentially lose from disgruntled gamers.”
Yeah, because Blizzard games aren’t a licence to print money and they don’t have a insane fan base *rolleyes*

April 19th, eh? No coincidence that this Dutch store doesn’t have a name, and that date happens to fall close to April Fools day?

I still remember the April fools joke Blizzard played on their Diablo 2 gamers. One year they had posted that all bosses would have some sort of 100% health+damage increase and that all monsters in hell would have 2 immunities including bosses..they really had people freaking lol. But in regards to D3 just be patient people, I’m playing the Beta almost every day and were getting very close to a finished product – the Beta is only a small representation of the real game but if its any indication then this game will be of Legendary stature.

Has anyone actually been taken in by ^ this scammer? I have not found one D3 news broadcast where this idiot hasn’t posted this, or something like this. I’ve seen them claim, in one post, that they have 250 beta keys… er… ok. Just so you know, Roman Brown, you’re written statement can be used as liable in a court of law.

     Hi Prophet,

Thanks for the heads up I have deleted his comment.

Every month or so, a retailer claims a release date exists.. and yet Blizzard continues to say that retailers wont know until we do.. so why do these pointless stories keep cropping up? Also..being disgruntled due to delays should be indicative of how many players WILL be purchasing this on release day..gamers don’t “not purchase games” to get back at developers.. no matter how much they threaten to do so to try and expedite the release

how is it close to april fools day? April 19 is over half a month past april 1.  April fools day jokes ONLY WORK ON THAT ONE DAY.  There is no voucher to extend it into April Fools Month.

Actually, I’ve been playing the beta and after the last patch the game
is basically a wow rip off. So I uninstalled it, I hope fan’s where not
looking for something new when it came to skills and items. I’m personally completely disappointed with Blizzard if I wanted to play Wow I would have played it years ago.

  • Robert

Please give me your beta key :D

  • Cughin

     ur an idiot..

  • Matthew Krill

Yes.  They’re losing tons of money.  SOOO many people expect Blizzard to release a game on time…

Have you even heard of this company?  Go write to someone who plays Tetris or something.

  • Feyd_andvari

Explain the similarities between D3 and WoW please. In your explanation please also explain how patch 13 brought D3 closer to a “wow rip off” level. Thank you. (Disclaimer – I have played WoW for over 6 years, and have had the D3 beta since November.. so fact check before posting your answer please)

  • Josh

    Matthew, I lawl’d when I read your post. /agree

liable in court? Libel maybe, but not like the difference in a single letter would make a difference in a court of law…

force strategy gaming for Diablo 3 says like early may. i dont remember the exact date but that would give blizzard the month and 1/2 they pretty much always have had when the release date was announced by they. they would probably announce it at CeBIT (which is between march 6-10)
this is my educated guess and the logic sounds good

“the more money they potentially lose from disgruntled gamers”

Not very familiar with the Diablo fanbase, are we? If the game gets delayed another two years, no matter how pissed we get by then, we’ll still be scratching at the doors at the midnight release sale, because no matter how long it takes or how many people bash all the new changes/features, it all comes down to one simple thing:

Us Diablo fans are dirty little lootwhores.
