Dell Latitude E6400 XFR Rugged Laptop
Dell have added another laptop to their range of rugged laptops, which is designed to take a serious beating, the Dell Latitude E6400 XFR.
The Dell Latitude E6400 XFR features a new Ballistic Armour protection system, which has double the impact strength of magnesium alloy, it can withstand being dropped from 3 feet whilst turned on and up to 1.2 metres whilst tuned off.
It is also dust proof and fully waterproof, and can even withstand attacks from pressurised water, inside there is an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160 graphics card, and it has a 14.1 inch LCD display.
It is designed to be used in harsh environments, if you want one it is going to set you back around $4,299.

Looks like a mod of some other makes. Dell is a good brand, but they are kind of late to the party on the rugged niche. I reality it probably more of the same. They most likely will do OK because of branding.
