Core Caseworks Wall Mounted Media Centre PC Case
If you are looking for a stylish Media Centre PC, then you may want to check out the Core-FX case form Core Caseworks.
The Core-FX PC case is the first wall mountable PC case that is geared to media centre PCs and it is designed to integrate into your home, as you can see from the photos it looks very stylish and doesn’t look out of place next to your LCD or Plasma TV.

The Core-FX case is the first wall mountable computer case geared toward the PC Media Center and Gaming communities, and has even been deemed “Wife Worthy” by many. The Core-FX Case mounts inside the wall, providing enough space to accommodate most standard computer components available today, as well as most wireless receivers. All computer components mount to brackets which hang and clip into place for ease of installation. The Core-FX case and materials all 100% made in the USA.
It features a unique round design, and the case is actually installed in the wall, thus hiding all the wires and cables, it has room for full height and length expansion cards, a slim optical drive and a Micro-ATX motherboard.
I love the design on this case, I think it looks really stylish, if you want one the Core-FX PC case is available in a couple of finishes, prices start ate $339 for the black model and $349 for the white frosted model.

It’s a cool idea, but those of us who love technology but hate modern design would think that design is ugly. By the way, that is not a sphere. I’d honestly prefer a box shape, because it is more efficient in the space it takes up.

Are you kidding Round is the new Square! I like the design. I’m sure it would have been much easier to make it square. Can you imagine the design time and effort it must have taken to make square parts fit in a round case make? Not only that, but then manufacture it in round so all the parts fit so nicely? That’s why round is cool!! I think they are really onto something with this. I hope this takes off. I’m sure for those ‘squares’ out there, in time Core Caseworks will probably make both round and square. Great Idea! I wish I would have thought of this. Looks like I have a new Media PC Case for my remodeled basement!!
