Cool iPhone Apps – Trapster – Alerts you of speed traps

Check out this cool iPhone App, called Trapster. It is designed to stop you from getting speeding tickets.

Trapster works by following your location on a map on the iPhone, your are located via a red dot on the map, if you pass a speed trap or speed camera, you can tap the screen, and then a message is send to the Trapster server and it will update the application to show the location as a speed trap.

This seems like a great app, but obviously it will rely on users tapping the screen when they find a speed trap, which will help other users.

I will be using it and I would recommend that anyone with an iPhone uses it as well, that way the database will keep growing and we will all be paying less in speeding fines.
