Cool Concepts – The PSP2
Check out this cool concept design, of the PlayStation Portable 2 from designer Tai Cheim.
Tai’s design uses a flexible OLED display that rolls out of the PSP2.
The display uses an electric charge to make it rigid when it is fully extended and it also has built in speakers either side of the PSP2.
This is a stunning looking design, I am not sure how good it would be in practice though as the cylinder unit looks considerably larger than existing PSP so it wouldn’t exactly fit in your pocket, and I am not sure hows easy it would be to play games on.

It’s the matter of time to get this type of console gaming. It’s pretty achievable for another decade, not the current world…
Pretty cool. But that hand position looks a bit difficult to hold for a long time…
