Love the idea; however, like someone already pointed out, it’s near impossible (with current technology anyway). The no battery is obvious and another thing, how are you supposed to produce the large amounts of kinetic energy? (I’m thinking of the ad “Diamond Gen IV – Rechargeable No Battery LED Shake Flashlight”) It makes me laugh thinking there is someone shaking his wrist every 90s or so.

Of course we all like the no battery angle. But let’s face the truth – we’re staring at a power hungry device which uses an LCD screen of sorts, plays videos, and music too. I don’t believe Kinetic energy is gonna power this bad boy.
