It’s always nice when a company goes the extra mile for it’s customers. A carrier in China is offering customers who purchase the iPhone 6 Plus a pocket enlargement service. Because many need larger pockets to rock that new extra large iPhone.
So customers can get the pockets on their pants enlarged so that they’re big enough to comfortably accommodate the iPhone 6 Plus. It might even help with the bending issue we have been hearing about when the iPhone 6 Plus is in tight pockets.
The carrier offering this service is China Unicom, the second largest mobile carrier in the People’s Republic. It is offering in-house pocket enlargement to those who pick up Apple’s largest iPhone. China Unicom has hired a group of tailors to do the work at many of its stores across the country. China Unicom may not be the only carrier doing this. There are reports that KPN, a carrier in the Netherlands, also offered a similar pocket enlargement service for customers who purchased the iPhone 6 Plus. It’s a clever marketing idea for sure. If phones get larger, who knows, maybe we will see clothing companies making clothing specifically oriented to certain phone models. I’m sure people would buy it.
