HTC Tattoo coming to Vodafone UK in October

When we mentioned the new HTC Tattoo earlier this month, we knew it was going to be released in Europe next month, now UK mobile phone operator Vodafone has confirmed that it will be selling the HTC Tattoo from October.

The HTC Tattoo, features HTC’s Sense UI and is powered by Google Android, it features a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

iPhone OS 3.1 Battery Problems

There have been a number of reports of iPhone users experiencing battery problems since the latest iPhone update, iPhone OS 3.1, with lots of users reporting the problem on the Apple Discussions forum.

Some users have reported that the battery seems to last about 25% less, than with iPhone OS 3.0, and some are even reporting that the iPhone is using as much as 10 to 15% of the battery power for every hour it is in standby mode.

MSI Wind U110 Eco Netbook

MSI has updated their Wind U110 netbook, the new version is virtually identical to the previous model, the only main difference is that the new Wind U110 Eco is reported to have a 15 hour battery life.

The MSI Wind U110 Eco comes with a 10 inch backlit LCD screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600, processing comes in the form of an Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz processor.

Acer had released details of their latest smartphone, the Acer F1 which will go on sale in the UK on the 6th of October.

The Acer F1 features a Qualcomm 8250 1GHz processor, and will come with Windows Mobile 6.5, it features a 3.8 inch WVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800, and is Quad-band GSM / Tri-band HSPA.

iPhone Game ported to Zune HD in 12 Hours

Foundation 42 a company which makes games for the iPhone as well as other platforms, is one of the first companies to get an app working on the Zune HD, they managed to port an existing iPhone game to the Zune HD in just 12 hours.

The game they used to try this out was a word puzzle game called Wordmonger, and by using the Microsoft XNA, they we able to get a full working version of their game on the Zune HD.
