Maingear claims that their new eX-L 18 laptop is currently the fastest in the world.. it even has glowing go faster graphics on the top. The 18.4 inch laptop uses a Intel Core 2 Extreme quad processor and has dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280M graphics cards.

Dell has reduced the price of their Adamo laptop by $500, but unfortunately it is still pretty expensive compared to the competition.
Dell has knocked $500 of all models bringing the base model down form $1,999 to $1,499, which is around the same price as the better specced MacBook Air.

Rock has added a couple of new gaming laptops to its range with the launch of the Rock Xtreme 790 and Rock Xtreme 840.
The Rock Xtreme 790 (pictured below) comes with an Intel Core i7 processor, a 17 inch full HD display, up to 1.5 TB of storage via three 500GB 7200rpm hard drives or the choice of up to 750GB of storage via SSDs, plus a 7-in-1 card reader and 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, plus up to 4GB of RAM.

MSI has added another notebook to their range with the launch of the MSI EX460 Notebook.
The MSI EX460 Notebook will feature a 14 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768, and is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, graphics comes int the form of an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 512MB graphics card.

Getac has launched a new rugged notebook which they are claiming is the smallest and lightest business rugged notebook, the Getac 9213 Rugged Notebook.
The Getac 9213 Rugged Notebook comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM with the option to upgrade to up to 3GB, it features a 13.3 inch WXGA LCD display, and a choice of either 160GB or 250GB SATA hard drive.
