Sony Xperia Pureness

As well as launching the new Xperia X2, Sony has added another mobile to their Xperia range with the launch of the Sony Xperia Pureness, which is touted as a ‘Fashion Phone’.

Sony have only given us a glimpse of the Xperia Purness, and intend to provide full details of it at an official launch in November, although Sony has revealed that the Xperia Pureness is a simple phone which is designed for ‘talk, text, time’.

Sprint Announces The HTC Hero

Sprint has just announced their first Google Android mobile phone, the HTC Hero, and as you can see from the photo below, the Sprint version of the HTC Hero has had a bit of a re-design.

From October the 11th, the HTC Hero will be available on Sprint, for $179.99 with a two year contract after rebate, and this will be on a unlimited data plan which will cost $69.99.

T-Mobile Pulse Pay as You Go Android Mobile Phone

T-Mobile has launched the first Pay as You Go Google Android mobile phone, the T-Mobile Pulse.

The T-Mobile Pulse is made by Huawei, and it is the UK’s first pre-pay Google Android mobile phone, it features a 3.2 inch touchscreen HVGA display, a 3.2 camera with auto focus, although it doesn’t come with a flash.

Sony has launched a new smartphone which is the successor to the Xperia X1, the Sony Xperia X2.

The Sony Xpera X2 will come with Windows Mobile 6.5, a 3.2 inch WVGA touchscreen, and a full QWERTY keyboard, plus an 8.1 megapixel camera and built in TV out.

HTC Touch2 Smartphone

HTC has added a new smartphone to their range with the launch of the HTC Touch2, which was previously rumored to be called the HTC Mega.

The HTC Touch2 features a 2.8 inch touchscreen display and it will run Windows Mobile 6.5, with HTC’s custom TouchFlo 3D user interface, it will also feature a re-designed version of Internet Explorer, have direct You Tube access and full Flash support.

Nokia X6 and X3 Music Phones

As well as announcing the new Nokia N97 Mini, Nokia has added a couple of new music phones to its range, with the launch of the Nokia X6 and Nokia X3.

The Nokia X6 features a 3.2 inch touchscreen LCD display with a resolution of 360 x 640, it comes with 32GB of storage built in and features a 5 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and a dual LED flash.

The Nokia N97 Mini comes with a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, and a full QWERTY keyboard, and it comes with and fully customizable home screen, and according to Nokia it is designed to deliver a truly personal Internet experience.

Windows Mobile 6.5 Available 6th October

Microsoft (MSFT) has confirmed the launch date for the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 or ‘Windows Phones’ as Microsoft calls it as the 6th of October 2009.

On the 6th of October we will see a new ranges of mobile phones powered by Windows 6.5, which according to Microsoft are designed for a variety of different tastes, needs and price points.

Nokia N900 Gets Official

Nokia has launched the Nokia N900 which is powered by Nokia’s new Maemo 5 OS, and features a 3.5 inch WVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480.

The Nokia N900 measures 110.9 x 59.8 x 18mm and weighs 181g, it features a sliding Qwerty keyboard and is powered by an ARM Cortex A8 processor.

Nokia 5230 Mobile Phone

Nokia seems to be releasing a lot of new products this week, we have already seen the Nokia Booklet 3G and the Nokia 5800 Navigation Editon, today they have announced another new mobile phone, the Nokia 5230.

The Nokia 5230 is an entry level touchscreen mobile phone, with a 3.2 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 640 x 360, it also features a 2 megapixel camera, which can record video at 30fps.
