Samsung Sells More Devices Than Nokia In Finland In Q1

Nokia has been the top mobile phone seller in their home market of Finland for quite some time, and now according to a new report, Samsung actually shipped more device than Nokia in Finland in Q1 of 2013.

According to the report, Samsung has a 236.1 percent share of the mobile phone market with 211,000 device shipped, this compares to Nokia who shipped 196,000 devices for a 33.6 percent share.

BlackBerry Q10 launches in Pakistan

The QWERTY equipped BlackBerry Q10 is now available in Pakistan. Mobilink has the device on its website and in its stores priced for 70,000 Rs. ($710 USD). Ufone is also taking pre-orders for the device, although a price is not yet listed on the web site. Mobilink’s site says that supplies are limited.

Huawei Ascend W1 Now Available In The US

The Huawei Ascend W1 launched in Europe recently and now the handset is available in the US through Walmart and Straight Talk, the device is available for $229.99, and this is the price of the handset without having to sign up to a contract, although it can only be used on Straight Talk’s wireless service.

The Huawei Ascend W1 is a Windows Phone 8 smartphone that features a 4 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, the device is powered by a dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.2GHz processor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 To Feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor (Rumor)

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to launch some time over the next few months, we previously heard a rumor that the device would come with Samsung’s own 8 core Exynos Octa 5 processor, although it would appear that it may come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

The news comes from ZDNet Korea who have said that the Galaxy Note 3 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, of course it is possible that Samsung could release two versions of the device, one with their own Exynos Octa 5 processor and another with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

Huawei Ascend P6 To Retail For 250 Euros (Rumor)

Huawei are holding a press event next month on the 18th of June, where they are expected to unveil the new Huawei Ascend P6 smartphone, and now it would appear that we may have some pricing on the handset.
