Automakers Turning to Virtual Showrooms

A survey by Automaker.com showed that more than 50% of its younger users were interested in ways to buy cars without dealing with dealership sales representatives. These virtual showrooms will likely be available via mobile apps along with the usual desktop/laptop capabilities. The new technology will cost automakers a great deal of money to create, but could save them millions in the end. Instead of spending the money to build a car and various iterations for marketing purposes, they’ll now be able to make changes and show off variations virtually.
