Norhtec Gecko Surfboard Keyboard PC

Many of us are still waiting for Asus to release their Eee Keyboard PC, now another company called Norhtec is releasing a keyboard PC, the Gecko Surfboard.

The Norhtec Gecko Surfboard is a full sized QWERTY keyboard with a PC inside, processing comes in the form of a 1.0GHZ Vortex86MX system on a chip, and it also has integrated graphics and audio.

Google Chrome Beta For Mac OS X And Linux Released

Google has just released beta versions of its Chrome web browser for both Mac OS X and Linux, the software has been in development for some time since the first Windows version was released.

Google has said that it took longer than they expected to get the Mac and Linux versions out, but the wait should be worth it.

CompuLab Launches fit-PC2i

We have seen a few of these small form factor PCs from Compulab previously on Geeky Gadgets, the latest one is designed to be used with the new Windows 7, as well as Ubuntu Linux 8.04, plus Windows XP.

The CompuLab  fit-PC2i is powered by a choice of Intel Atom processors, either an Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz, or an Intel Atom Z510 1.1GHz processor, memory comes in the form of 1GB of DDr2 RAM as standard with the option to upgrade to 2GB.

Zotac has launched the ZOTAC MAG Nettop PC, which it is calling ‘the world’s first everywhere PC’.

The Zotac Mag comes with a choice of either an Intel Atom 300 or Atom 230 processors, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and NVIDIA’s ION graphics processor.
