At the moment you can already watch TV programmes on your iPhone using the BBC iPlayer service from their website in Safari, it looks like the BBC are in the process of developing an iPhone App which will bring a range of new BBC iPlayer services to the iPhone.
It seems that Apple [AAPL] may be testing the next generation iPhone, as details have shown up in an analytics report provided to iPhone App developers Pandav.
Pandav noticed that there was an identifier for an unreleased version of the Apple iPhone in the report, the latest iPhone, the 3GS shows up in the report as iPhone 1,2, but a new version 3,1 also appeared in the report.

It looks like there is another retailer in the UK that is going to be selling the Apple iPhone, and this one may just start a price war as they are well know for selling products at discounted price, UK supermarket chain Tesco.
