Apple Field Testing The Next Generation iPhone

It seems that Apple [AAPL] may be testing the next generation iPhone, as details have shown up in an analytics report provided to iPhone App developers Pandav.

Pandav noticed that there was an identifier for an unreleased version of the Apple iPhone in the report, the latest iPhone, the 3GS shows up in the report as iPhone 1,2, but a new version 3,1 also appeared in the report.

The $3.2 Million iPhone 3GS

Stuart Hughes, who covers mobile phones with gold and diamonds has just finished making what is probably the worlds most expensive mobile phone ever for one of his clients.

The iPhone 3GS Supreme was sold to his client for a massive £1.92 Million which is about $3.2 Million US, and the case was made from 271 grams of 22ct solid gold, on top of that the front bezel has 136 flawless diamonds color F, with a total of 68 cts.

New iPhone Worm Revealed

A few weeks ago, the first worm appeared on the Apple iPhone, although it wasn’t particularly nasty and really didn’t do any damage to your iPhone, it looks like there is now a new iPhone worm doing the rounds, which uses the same exploit and this one is malicious.

The new worm is called ‘Duh’ or ‘IKee.B’ and it uses the exact same exploit as the previous one, if you are using a jailbroken iPhone, and have SSH enabled and haven’t changed the root password then you could be vulnerable to this worm.
