Griffin has just launched their ClearBoost iPhone Case, which is designed to boost the signal on your iPhone.

The guys over at iLounge have been testing it and the case boosts signals in certain situations but not all.

The ClearBoost iPhone case retails for $35, which wouldn’t be too bad if it boosted your iPhone signal when you needed and didn’t look so bad.

The latest tool from the iPhone Dev Team, the iPhone Pwnage Tool which we wrote about the other day is now available.

With this new tool you can now flash your iPhone with hacked firmware that will allow you to run any application, use it on any cellphone network.

The guys over at Gizmodo have been testing the new tool for a while and according to them it works well.

Pwnage is extremely simple to use. After getting your hands on a hacked iPhone firmware, first you have to back up your iPhone data using iTunes.

Then, connect the iPhone, select the firmware from your hard drive and iPwn the iPhone. Pwnage will upload the new firmware to the iPhone and that’s that: the tool will take care of everything and, in a few minutes, your iPhone will be ready to go.

I tried this with the latest modified version of iPhone firmware update 1.2.0 and it works as good as with the previous version. So go ahead, punks, and make Steve’s day.

Note: if by any chance you come across a pwned version of the latest 2.0 firmware, my advice is not to use this version, as this Apple beta is not as stable as I wish. Instead, use the previous beta, which worked perfectly.

The latest tool from the iPhone Dev Team, the iPhone PWNED tool will take iPhone hacking to the next level.

This new tool patches the iPhone bootloader and will let you load any version of the firmware you want, including custom firmware, the new tool allows custom firmware to be loaded directly from iTunes which simplifies the unlocking process, check out this video if it in action.

The problem with most iPhone cases is that you have to take them off to fit your iPhone on the standard dock, well this clever case has the solution, the bottom of the case slides off allowing you to dock you iPhone without having to remove the case, this is great if your lazy like me.

In case you haven’t noticed the iPhone’s glassy touch sensitive screen is only sensitive to your stubby little fingers. This is because it uses a technology called capacitive touch which measures the flow of electrons through your skin. Problem is, last time we checked our fingers were pretty rounded and not too precise at picking out tiny URLs in Safari.

With the recent release of the iPhone SDK, we are starting to see a glimpse of some of the cool apps and games that developers are working on.

Crazy Kart 2 is being developed by french game developers int13 production, here’s a preview video of the game on the iPhone.

I have to say it looks like a lot of fun, and I cant wait to have a go on this.

Adobe has confirmed that Flash is coming to the iPhone, their Chief Executive Shantanu Naryen had the following to say about it.

“We believe Flash is synonymous with the Internet experience, and we are committed to bringing Flash to the iPhone,” Narayen said. “We have evaluated (the software developer tools) and we think we can develop an iPhone Flash player ourselves.”

This is great news and long overdure, there are so many websites that I use that need Flash I cant wait until this comes out.

Now all we need is copy and paste, a text editor and a trimmed down version of Photoshop and I will be able to do all my blogging from the Pub with my iPhone.
