The Commodore 64 Emulator iPhone App was rejected from the App store by Apple earlier this year, it has had a few changes made to it like BASIC has been disabled and it now now been approved by Apple.

Apple (AAPL) has finally Approved Spotify for the iPhone, although the App hasn’t gone live in iTunes, Apple and Spotify have both confirmed that it has been approved and that it will appear in the iPhone App store shortly.

Rhapsody iPhone App

Rhapsody for the iPhone and iPod Touch has been submitted to Apple for approval, if it is approved it will offer on demand music streaming to Rhapsody subscribers over 3G and WiFi.

In the past Apple hasn’t approved music streaming apps, as they are obviously concerned about competition with iTunes, if Rhapsody is approved it will give iPhone users access to over 8 million tracks and all of its radio stations.

We told you about the TomTom Navigation iPhone App, a while back, well it looks like it is now available from the US iTunes store for $99.99.

The TomTom iPhone App turns your iPhone into a fully fledged turn by turn Sat Nav device, it features both 2D and 3D maps, and to be honest $99.99 does seem expensive considering there are alternatives on the market, like CoPilot Live which only costs $34.99.

USAA Bank Lets You Deposit A Check With Your iPhone

USAA Bank has released an iPhone App that will let the banks customers deposit a check using their iPhone.

The application works by the user taking a photo of the check, then entering the amount to be deposited and clicking send, the photo of the check is then automatically sent to the bank and deposited in your account.

NESynth iPhone App

This is definitely ones of the coolest iPhone Apps we have seen so far on Geeky Gadgets, NESynth.

NESynth is a virtual synthesizer app for the iPhone that simulates 8 bit sounds from 80s video games, and the interface looks like an NES controller, check out the video of it in action below.

Apple Says NO to Google Voice Apps

Google’s much anticipated Google voice app for the iPhone was sent to Apple for approval to be sold through Apples App Store. But Apple have refused to sell it and have also removed existing apps which provideĀ  similar services, reports claim.

Rumours suggest AT&T may be behind the move to ban the Google voice app becuase it also allows users to send free SMS messages and make cheap calls using Google’s own number.
