Then check out this robot created from an off-the-shelf robot kit a Kondo KHR-2HV (which is available online for $1300 ) and an iPhone 3GS which has been used for its head. James May the UK’s Top Gear presenter is looking for volunteers to help him attempt to build a full-size two-storey house in the middle of a wine estate in Dorking next Saturday. With the help of volunteers from the public James will attempt to create a full-size Lego house including staircase, toilet and shower. He has already built the world’s first plasticine garden which won the People’s Choice Award at the Chelsea Flower Show.

It’s that time of the year where I am taking a break and heading of to Spain for my annual holiday, as of tomorrow I will be on holiday for 10 days, and whilst I am away Julian will be looking after the site.
You will probably see a lot more interesting posts, with much better spelling and probably much cooler gadgets.
We have seen some pretty crazy things before on geeky gadgets, but this might just be the craziest yet, a German man called Dirk Auer decided it would be a good idea to roller skate down a roller coaster track wearing a pair of customized inline skates.
Dirk reached speeds of up to 56 MPH whilst skating down the roller coaster, check out the video of him in action below.
