The Vader Project 2010

Some of our readers will remember the Vader Project, that we featured last year. The Vader Project is an annual exhibition where various artists are asked to customize a 1:1 scale replica of the Vader helmet from Star Wars.

This years exhibition will be shown off in Los Angeles in June, and here is a sneak preview of some of the customized Vader helmets that will be displayed.

Apple’s New iPad Advert Pays Tribute To Apple Newton

Apple has released their latest TV advert for the Apple iPad, and this one takes its inspiration from the original advert from the Apple Newton tablet.

The Apple Newton was the first tablet from Apple, a PDA which featured hand writing technology, and although it wasn’t a great success with the majority of consumers it still has a some dedicated fans.

Google Logo Made From Photos And Captured In Time Lapse Video

It seems like working for Google could be fun sometimes, as Google employees at their office in London have created a Google logo using a total of 884 photographs.

The Google team behind the cool video below used 884 4×6 photographs and it took them around 5.5 hours, they captured the logo being made on time lapse video with a shot being taken every seven seconds.

1.5M Tall Gundam Will Cost You $3,400

We have already seen the massive 59 foot Gundam that was displayed in Tokyo, now if you are looking to get your hands on a smaller version, Bandai has created a new model, although this one is a little shorter than the last measuring just 1.5M tall.

The 1.5M tall Gundam will go on sale tomorrow in Japan, and each one will be built to order, and it is an exact Gundam replica on a 1:60 scale.

Yanko Design Offers Avatar 1259B Watch You Can Purchase

Normally when we talk about watches that turn up at Yanko Design, they are nothing but design concepts that you can just look at and dream of owning. On some occasions though Yanko offers up watches and other items that you can actually buy and such is the case today.

Yanko Design is offering the Avatar 1259B Watch that uses separate LED sections to tell the time. On the left side of the large rectangular watch face is a circle that has 12 LEDs to show the hours. A top line is next to that with five LEDs to show tens of minutes.
