Well a company called RcSuperheros has created two remote control air vehicles in the shape of humans in two sizes you can now purchase to take to the skies. Measuring either 78 or 58 inches long and weighing around 3.3 lbs each.

Two Canadian teenagers have managed to send the worlds first Lego astronaut into space, with a budget of just $400 they managed to send a Lego Minifig out to the edge of space at a height of 85,000 feet.

This was done using a weather balloon which they purchased for $85, a Styrofoam box with some gel hand warmers, and some point and shoot cameras, have a look at the video of the worlds first Lego man in space below.

Focus Designs Self Balancing Unicycle Version 2.0 Now Available (video)

Focus Designs have been developing their self-balancing unicycle for some time and are now ready to released a new Version 2.0 which is ready for market and is available to purchase for around $1500.

Focus Designs has used seven sensors, gyros and accelerometers to monitor the orientation of the unicycle. Which is then decoded via a processor, by a number of custom algorithms. This data is then feed down to the hub-mounted motor which then either speeds up or slows down to maintain axial forwards/backwards balance. Any Battlefield 3 fans looking to mod their own gaming PCs might be interested to view one that has been created by, case modding master Brian Carter. The mod was designed by Carter and created to take part in the competition run by Raptr.

Carter had the opportunity to choose between either creating a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3 case. The finished Battlefield 3 case design is now finished and equipped with its own drinks fridge and has a custom airbrushed Battlefield image on one side, and a massive crosshair intake fan on the other.

Samsung Dismantles Its Galaxy Note Smartphone Tablet Hybrid For All To See

Samsung has this week taken screwdriver to its own Galaxy Note tablet this week and dismantled it revealing its workings to the world. The Samusng Galaxy Note was originally announced by during IFA 2011 in Berlin and was later launched in late October 2011 in Europe. Last month, Samsung announced that 1 million Galaxy Notes were shipped in less than two months, and that Galaxy Note would be available in the US in 2012.

The map builder has been creating the CSS map on an off since 2009 and has done a fine job, creating The Office in all its glory. Spending over 500 hours building each section in detail, see the results in the video after the jump.

Back in 2009 the Star Wars Uncut project was started to try and produce a fan made version of the classic Star Wars movie. Star Wars Uncut was started by Casey Pugh, who divided the Star Wars movie into 472 15-second segments and then asked Star Wars fans to help fill the sequences with their own interpretation of the movie.

Now after more than three years the fully complete remake of the Star Wars movie has now been spliced together and is ready to view in a 2 hour masterpiece. Watch it in its full glory after the jump.

A new Guinness World Record has been set for the worlds largest game controller, and the record was taken by this giant NES controller which was made by Ben Allen, Stephen Van’t Hof and Michael Verhulst.

So just how big is the worlds largest game controller? It measures 12 feet wide by 5 feet deep and 1ft 8 inches tall and it weighs in at a massive 265 pounds, it is fully functional and can been seen in action in the video below.

The Facebook bed otherwise known as the Fbed, has been designed by Tomislav Zvonarić, and allows those addicted to staying up to date with their Facebook updates a place to grab a little shut eye in between typing.

As you can see from the images below the Facebook Bed has been designed using the Facebook “f” logo turned on its side. At one end there is a space for your computers connected directly to your Facebook pages and a sleeping area at the other. Although you will need to stay cross-legged or a little cramped when using the computer, as leg space is at a premium.

If you are addicted to the new Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim game created by developer Bethesda, and just can’t get enough of the questing even when you’re at work or college. You might be pleased to know that an unofficial version has now been created for Texas instruments TI-84 calculators.

The new Skyrim modification has been completely built on a calculator by YouTube userno9sniper. As you would expect the game still includes questing and battles, but has scaled down graphics to accommodate the smaller processor. Something I still haven’t mastered to this day. But even trying to keep your eyes on your own car whilst racing this slot car track would prove a problem in itself.

The life size edible Stormtrooper cake has been created and baked by Oak Leaf Cakes, for the Arisia Science Fiction Convention in Boston, and measure a massive 6ft 4 inches in height. It took ten people two full weeks to make the cake and put all the pieces together.

On Wednesday the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists (BAS) moved their symbolic Doomsday Clock a minute closer to midnight, which should get people nervous if this were still the Cold War. However, in absence of a possible nuclear showdown, the worrying move was supposed to shine a light on contemporary issues. The first is the BAS’ age-old concern over nuclear proliferation, which it thinks has not received enough action other than promises among nuclear states. The second bone it wishes to pick is climate change–unless global industry changes course, BAS claims within five years a whole lot of awful is coming humanity’s way.

Weirdly Shaped Pen Bears Mysterious Stamp

Recognize it yet? Nope? The big reveal comes after the jump. Apparently, the pen seen below has quite a story behind it. There’s a Japanese connection for sure, but the trail of clues goes farther and deeper. First, it was initially spied in a Milan design exhibition some time ago. What caught the eye of those in attendance was the small stamp embedded on its bulbous head.

Ask a stupid question? Really, whose got money these days? Not just some money, but a whopping $2.9 million for this unused science facility in California. It’s not an ion cannon for orbital strikes and it can’t transport you to another dimension, but it is serious hardware. Plus, there’s a massive plot of land thrown in! Turns out the Jamesburg Earth Station is a Cold War relic previously owned by a hi-tech firm but now for sale. Not only did it transmit space missions to live audiences, but the whole facility was built to withstand a nuclear attack. If you believe in Judgment Day via the singularity, this might be a good investment.

It’s not quite an F22, definitely not an F35…in fact, it’s a whole new beast. But hold on, because it isn’t taking to the skies until 2030. That’s just 18 years from now. A lot can happen in 18 years.

Apple Wants To Ban Steve Jobs Action Figure?

The other day we saw some photos of a new Steve Jobs action figure, the latest one is the most realistic to date and is being produced by a company called Inicons and will retail for $99.

As we mentioned in our previous article, when these action figures have been produced in the past, Apple has attempted to ban them from going on sale and this looks like the case with the latest one.

The drop tests started from the safe height of a balcony and then stepped up to an impressive 1300 foot. Four Liquid Nitrogen Cooled Radeon HD 7970 Cards Prepare For Massive Benchmarks

Overclocker Andre has combined 4 x AMD Radeon HD 7970 graphics cards together with a little liquid nitrogen to create his “quad seventy-nine seventy” over clocking rig. Which when pushed to the limit produce some amazing benchmark figures.

Andre has already tweaked his rig and cards to a fantastic 3DMark Vantage with a P (performance) score of over 83,000 and GPU score of over 98,000, and grabbed 3DMark 11 P and X (extreme) scores of 32,728 and 17,432, respectively.

But model and prop maker Harrison Krix, thought he would have a go at creating a real life replica, and has done so to great effect. The awesome Half-Life 2 Gravity Gun was created by Krix for charity and was recently auctioned off for the Child’s Play Charity where it raised and fantastic $21,000. Swann Launches New RC Helcopters With Built In Cameras

Swann has launched a new range of remote control helicopters, and two of the new models come with built in wireless video cameras and they have also launched a new model that can be controlled by Apple’s iOS devices.

The three new models include the i-Fly Micro Lightning, which can be controlled by the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, the Skye Eye which is capable of recording video and taking photos, and the Black Swann which can also record photos and videos.

The awesome creation has been built to transport small footballs in a continuous loop. Easy you think? Check out the video after the jump to the entire machine in action. Including dumper trucks, conveyor belts and robotic arms, all working together to keep those balls moving.

Feast your eyes on this awesome Wipeout Quantum superconductor race track which allows you to rack two hover cars using dial controls. Which has suspiciously been created by the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.

Unfortunately the video and track are just a viral video, thought to be advertising the next Wipeout game Wipeout 2048, the upcoming racing game for the PlayStation Vita. But we can still dream. The Wipeout Quantum superconductor race track definitely beats your standard Scalextric track.

Seen below is an awful example of fashion sense gone wrong. (Jeans? he should have gone with furry pants!) As the saying goes, there’s no accounting for taste. Then again, some people might dig walking around in a Wookie Hoodie–and yes, it’s called the Chewbacca Furry Zip. It’s a hand wash susceptible 100% polyester garment that goes really well with not bathing for a few weeks and speaking in grunts.
