This Nintendo N64 DIY case mod takes portable gaming to the extreme. After collecting the required parts over a few weeks these DIY modders built the setup in the day. It’s still a little rough around the edges but you can see the concept idea.
The N64 is built into a PSP carry case briefcase and all parts were bought for a few dollars. The case has two player controller ports on the side and blue LEDs on the front to indicate the power.
When someone says nesting dolls to me I immediately think of the stereotypical Russian nesting dolls. However a new breed has evolved and now Star Wars characters are also available as a nesting doll set. There’s even a computer memory set. Then check out this robot created from an off-the-shelf robot kit a Kondo KHR-2HV (which is available online for $1300 ) and an iPhone 3GS which has been used for its head. The iPhone displays the face of the robot which has various emotions and can be programmed to do certain tasks. Watch the video after the jump for more details.
Check out this cool Darth Vader robotic arm kit which features 45 snap together parts. Using controls on the side of the elbow you can turn and extend the arm while opening and closing the fingers to grasp objects or Jedi warriors.
