Earth Blocks are constructed from a composite of cedar tree bark, compressed dust from sawn cedar logs, coffee beans and just enough polypropylene to hold the bricks together, and from the sound of it must smell delicious.

Swann has launched a new range of remote control helicopters, and two of the new models come with built in wireless video cameras and they have also launched a new model that can be controlled by Apple’s iOS devices.

According to local rag The Oregonian, a 33 year old man named David Allen Canterbury assaulted people with toy lightsabers at Toys R Us, prompting a 911 call. He then vacated the premises and tousled with the police, who wrestled him to the ground after their taser attempts were thwarted…by a guy with a couple of toy lightsabers.

It’s a ‘professionalized’ sled with mechanical controls. It can’t quite perform like a snowmobile (Modern Warfare type escapes are impossible with this clunker) but it does perform pretty splendid down a slope. It looks like heaps of fun to use as well. The Bean Bag Sled is exactly what its name implies, a large bean bag wrapped in a double-lining fabric that can be used as a snow sled. The picture illustrates how winter revelers may use this bag when sliding down the frozen outdoors amid good cheer and much fun. It’s doubtful whether the Bean Bag Sled can be applied to extreme winter sports though. One of the most revered film franchises in all of geekdom is Star Wars. Anytime something new that is Star Wars branded comes out it catches my eyes. When the stuff is from ThinkGeek, I really get excited. ThinkGeek always has the coolest Star Wars gear. The latest beverage set would look great with that vintage Star Wars lunch box I have from when I was a kid on the shelf in the kitchen.

So yeah, Lord Vader has got a lamp on his foot. Oh wait, make that feet. Both of them got the sparkly stuff. Odd placement but keep in mind this is a Lego miniature. Dubbed a Mini Torch (emphasis on mini), this Darth Vader incarnation can’t do much else besides a minute amount of illumination. Oh yeah, maybe it can hold a couple of Lego lightsabers, but other than that, nada.

What it does is adjust a person’s sleeping position to keep them from snoring. The magic is one of its paws moves to the sleeper’s head and tickles it. Sort of annoying, but apparently it works.
