The USB Alien looks like one of the evil aliens from the Alien movies, it plugs into your USB drive and it will randomly pop out an illuminated alien tongue just like the movies.

It might make a fun accessory for your office desk, although they could have made it a bit more useful by turning it into a USB hub.

If you remember the first generation of Tamagotchi’s Pocket Pets Bandi are at it again with the Tamagotchi ID Pocket Pets. Equipped with a 1.44 inch coulr screen the new generation Tamagotchi’s allow you to download content from the mobile web such as mini games and virtual items for your pets. Which you can then use to customise your pet.

These cute little pets are going on sale in Japan on November 23 and will be available in six colours costing around $57 each. Unfortunately Bandi has now release any information when they will be available in the UK or Europe as yet.

Instead of the two separate dials used to draw a picture on the screen, it features a single ball in the middle which is designed to get rid of the pixelated lines from the original.

Worlds Smallest Train Set

I have seen some small models but this train set has to be the smallest I have ever seen.

About five times the width of a ballpoint pen tip this set comes complete with mountains, tunnel and trees. David Smith created this tiny train set completely from styrene as an N scale layout in Z scale. Checkout the video after the jump.

“After carefully inserting the train-shaped tubing into its oval slot, I bonded the layout to a styrene support block that was in turn bonded to a mounting plate attached to the motor. This was an iterative process that involved fitting and sanding and fitting and sanding until the support block was exactly the right height. The mounting plate was made relatively large to provide a convenient means of attaching the mechanism to the layout under the building.”

We have seen quite a few remote controlled vehicles here at Geeky Gadgets, the latest one looks like it might be the coolest so far, the Amphibious RC Car.

The G-Bound was revealed during the Tokyo Toy Show this summer and it’s finally out in the Japanese shops at 13.000 yen (~100 euro/$150) It’s produced by CCP , a sub-brand of the Japanese toy giant BANDAI, and has a re-chargable battery pack and a 27 MHz radio. Thanks to a waterproof body and inflatable tires (usually RC car tires are not inflatable) it’s an amphibious vehicle that can be used everywhere, even on water!!

Sadly it looks like it is only available in Japan at the moment, lets hope we see these in the US and Europe as they look like a lot of fun.

Here is another remote controlled gadget for today, although this one looks a little more fun than the RC Tissue Box, the Mini HoverDrone.

The Mini HoverDrone is apparently the smallest remote controlled flying device ever, measuring just 60mm in diameter and just 65mm tall.

With a diameter not much larger than a silver dollar and a single propeller on the bottom, the HoverDrone somehow manages to float in the air as it spins and flashes its blue LED. The simple slider control allows only up-and down movement… but this makes it so easy to fly that anyone can instantly control it. Buy a few and create your own buzzing alien insect swarm.

I was never very good at playing instruments in school and really didn’t take it any further. But after seeing the world’s first human synthesiser I feel a huge urge to start playing again and the humanthesizer would definitely be my first choice of instrument. Check out the video after the jump.

The humanthesizer is a joint creation between Calvin Harris, Sony Music UK, and Bare conductive body ink. Which together have turned 15 bikini babes into a giant Arduino-powered synth capable of playing Harris’s track “Ready For The Weekend”

Each patch is triggered by one of the girls closing a circuit with her hands or feet — you can see the “wires” painted on their arms and legs if you look closely

This Nintendo N64 DIY case mod takes portable gaming to the extreme. After collecting the required parts over a few weeks these DIY modders built the setup in the day. It’s still a little rough around the edges but you can see the concept idea.

The N64 is built into a PSP carry case briefcase and all parts were bought for a few dollars. The case has two player controller ports on the side and blue LEDs on the front to indicate the power.

James May the UK’s Top Gear presenter is looking for volunteers to help him attempt to build a full-size two-storey house in the middle of a wine estate in Dorking next Saturday. With the help of volunteers from the public James will attempt to create a full-size Lego house including staircase, toilet and shower. He has already built the world’s first plasticine garden which won the People’s Choice Award at the Chelsea Flower Show.

3 million Lego bricks have already been delivered to the site awaiting construction. He already has people working on a flashing Lego lavatory. Anyone interested in taking part in the Lego house build, or who has Lego bricks to donate, should e-mail lego@plumpictures.co.uk.

We have seen quite a few remote controlled toys and gadgets here at geeky gadgets, but none as fast as this one, the World’s fastest remote controlled car.

The World’s fastest remote controlled car. was created by Nic Case, and it has just broken the World record, managing to travel at a massive 161 MPH.

The car features an 11 horsepower remote controlled motor and a 12 cell battery pack which would normally be found in remote controlled airplanes.

The case for the car was handmade from carbon fiber, and it was designed to be aerodynamic, and it features an all wheel drive system for increased traction.

I have to admit this is pretty impressive, if anyone finds a video of it in action let us know.

360 Rubik Puzzle

The original Rubik’s cube as being the highest selling toy worldwide and inventor has now come up with another brain teasing puzzle 360 Rubik. It’s constructed from a sphere that has two other plastic spheres inside with two small holes in them with six small coloured balls inside of these.

To solve the puzzle you must navigate a smaller balls to their corresponding coloured outer dome compartments. But that’s not it wants you have them in their domes in the stop them falling out while trapping the other balls in their domes.

The new 360 Rubik’s should be available in the UK starting next week for around £9. No word at the moment on release dates worldwide.

Unfortunately you can’t solve this puzzle by peeling stickers.
