Alienware TactX Keyboard and Mouse

Alienware are well known for their high end gaming PCs, now they have decided to get in on the peripheral market with the launch of a new gaming keyboard and mouse, the Alienware TactX Keyboard and Mouse.

First up is the Alienware TactX Keyboard, which is a full sized gaming keyboard with six additional programmable macro keys, it also feature AlienFX customizable lighting which lets you choose up to 400 unique color combinations with 20 different colors.

Nebudroid is a cool application for Google Android mobile phones that turns your Android mobile into an NES controller for use with NES emulators.

It also works as an accelerometer based steering wheel controller for racing games, at the moment the application is still in development, and it will be released to work with client side software for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Nintendo Wii Internet Channel Now Free

Swapped Xbox 360 Controller

Here is another cool mod from Ben Heck, this one was made at the request of one of his customers, the Swapped Xbox 360 Controller.

As you can see from the photos, the d-pad and action buttons have been swapped, also the left and right triggers have been swapped and Ben has also fitted an extra set of X Y B A buttons on the back.

Sony PS3 Motion Controller Coming 2010

Sony has confirmed that the Motion Controller for the Sony PS3 will be launching in spring next year, this would put Sony ahead of Microsoft’s Project Natal for the Xbox 360.

The main difference between Sony’s PS3 Motion controller and Microsoft’s Project Natal is that the Sony version will use a Wii like controller, whilst Project Natal wont use a controller.

Sony PS3 Slim

Sony has finally confirmed the much rumored PS3 Slim, the good news it that it will retail for $100 less than the current model.

The Sony PS3 SlimĀ  comes with a 120GB hard drive, it is 32% smaller than the existing PS3 and 36% lighter, the existing PS3 price has also been reduced to $300 in line with the new model.
