DIY Speakers made from Hard Drives

Well this is a first I never thought you would be able to make speakers from computer hard drives but hey here they are. This pair of 20GB hard drives have been combined and enclosed in a acrylic case together with a VU meter to give it a lovely techie glow.

Some of our readers will remember our DIY Cardboard iPhone Dock from last year, French designer Julien Madérou has come up with a Paper iPhone Dock, and I have to admit it looks very impressive.

I really like the design on Julien’s Paper iPhone Dock, you can dock and charge your iPhone in portrait mode just like a standard iPhone dock, or you can use it in landscape mode to watch movies, very cool.
